TEAM WESTSOUND is a non-profit group licensed in the State of Washington (pending federal 501(c)(3) status).
Our Team's mission is to attain sustained competitive excellence at local, regional, and national level events leading to opportunities for selection to the Junior and Senior National Taekwondo Teams.
Our program is open to children and adults - in all age groups and levels. Athletes who are part of our competition team commit to vigorous training regiments including: physical conditioning, technical training, competition strategies, and a variety of other sport-specific segments designed to bring out the best in athletic performance and personal development.
Athletes and their families also participates in year-round fundraising activities to assist in defraying the cost of training, equipment, and travel expenses throughout the year.
We appreciate the support of friends, family, and local businesses who continually make contributions to make our quest for the gold a reality.
